The situation
I.C. Details runs two things that look like one. Mobile detailing goes to the customer, anywhere across the Monterey Bay. Tint, paint protection film and graphene coating happen in the Marina shop, on an appointment, on a car that has to be there.
Presented as a single services list, both get weaker. The mobile customer wonders whether they have to drive somewhere. The coating customer cannot tell that there is a real shop with real equipment behind the work.
What we built
A site that separates the two without splitting the brand.
- The opening line does the sorting: mobile and in-shop, Marina, CA, so the visitor places themselves immediately
- Mobile detailing described by what it means practically, professional work in your own driveway, rather than as a product name
- The shop services named specifically: ceramic window tint, paint protection film, Artdeshine graphene coatings. This buyer knows the brands and searches for them
- Salinas and the Monterey Bay stated as the coverage area in the top bar, above the fold and above the menu
- Make Appointment fixed in the header, since both halves of the business run on scheduled slots
- Phone and email both in the top bar, because a detailing quote often starts as a photo sent over
What it does now
A customer who wants a car cleaned in their driveway and a customer shopping for PPF both land on the same site and find their half of it in the first screen.
