The situation
A contractor with one specialty has an easy website. A contractor doing ADUs, concrete and flatwork, custom homes, plans and permits, renovations, commercial work, property management and property development has a harder one. Put all of that in a dropdown and most visitors never learn that the company does the thing they came for.
The range is the selling point. It cannot be the thing the visitor has to go find.
What we built
A home page that shows the whole business in the first screen.
- The eight service lines placed around the hero as labeled entries, so the visitor sees the full range without opening anything
- One headline doing the positioning, and a subhead that lists the work plainly and ends on the part clients care about, crafted to code and built to last
- A projects entry held on screen, since a contractor with this range is judged on what they have finished
- An assistant on the page for the question this business gets constantly, which is whether they handle a specific job, and which of the eight lines it falls under
- Imagery of the actual equipment and the actual truck, because in this trade a stock photo reads as a company that subcontracts everything
What it does now
Someone who arrived looking for an ADU discovers in the same screen that the same company handles plans, permits and the concrete, and asks about their job without hunting through a menu.
