1. Our commitment
Digital Vibes Design builds websites for service businesses whose customers include older adults, people with low vision, and people using a phone in bright sunlight with one hand. Accessibility is not a checkbox for us; it’s part of whether the site works.
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA on digitalvibes.design and on the sites we build for clients.
2. Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. Section 4 lists what we know about. We publish that rather than claiming full conformance, because a claim we can’t back is worth nothing to someone who hits a barrier.
3. What we’ve built in
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, one
h1per page, and headings in order. - A skip link to jump straight to the main content from the keyboard.
- Keyboard operability: every interactive control is reachable and usable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
- Color contrast on text and interface elements tested against the AA thresholds, in both light and dark presentations.
- Reduced motion: animation, parallax and auto-scrolling effects are gated behind
prefers-reduced-motion, so the site goes still if your device asks it to. - Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as decorative.
- Labelled form fields with errors described in text, not by color alone.
- Responsive layout that reflows to 320px and supports zoom to 200% without loss of content.
- Bilingual delivery: pages are marked with the correct language so screen readers pronounce English and Spanish correctly.
4. Known limitations
- The AI chat and voice assistant. The chat window is keyboard operable, but its live-region announcements and the voice mode controls have not been fully tested with every screen reader. If it’s in your way, email or call us and you’ll reach the same person.
- Third-party embeds. Maps, video players and payment surfaces from Google, Shopify and Stripe are rendered by those vendors. We choose accessible options where there’s a choice, and we can’t rewrite their markup.
- Older blog images. Some posts migrated from our previous website have thin alt text. We’re rewriting them as we touch each post.
- PDF reports. Audit and scorecard PDFs are generated documents and are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. Ask and we’ll send the same content as plain text or read it to you.
5. Assistive technology we test with
Manual keyboard-only passes, browser zoom to 200%, and Lighthouse accessibility audits run against published pages. We do not run an automated accessibility check on every build, and we do not test every combination of browser and screen reader. Reports from real users are the fastest way we learn about problems, which is why section 6 exists.

Please include the page address and what happened. We respond within 2 business days and aim to fix or provide the information another way within 10 business days. If a fix takes longer, we’ll tell you why and give you a date.

7. Assessment and enforcement
This statement is based on our own evaluation, using manual testing and automated tooling. It has not been reviewed by an independent third party.
We are also covered by, and take seriously, the Americans with Disabilities Act and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act. If our response to a report doesn’t resolve things for you, say so directly and it goes to the owner, Roberto Cerda, personally.
