What people ask us before switching from Hibu.

Can I switch from Hibu to Digital Vibes mid-contract?

Yes, but check your Hibu agreement first. Inside the minimum term you can only cancel effective at its end, and leaving a monthly website plan early carries an early termination fee ($99 to $449 depending on the package, per Hibu’s General Terms). We can build the new site in parallel so it is ready the day your term ends.

What happens to my domain when I leave Hibu?

Hibu’s terms say the domain it provides is registered to Hibu, and cancelling the website cancels the domain. Ask Hibu to transfer it to your name before you cancel. Once it is yours, we point it at the new site. Domains we register are in your name from the start.

How do I cancel Hibu?

Per Hibu’s General Terms, by phone at (877) 237-6120, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm Central. Ads services (Search, Display, Social) need 15 days’ notice before the end of the service month or they run another month. Website plans paid monthly run a 12-month term.

How much does Hibu cost?

Hibu does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists Establish, Reach and Expand, each with "Request custom pricing," plus an implementation fee with no amount. Capterra, a third-party site, lists Hibu starting at $449/mo. Get your first-year total from Hibu in writing.

Do I lose my reviews and listings when I switch?

No. Your Google reviews belong to your Google Business Profile, not to Hibu, and they stay when you switch. Directory listings Hibu manages may stop being updated, so we check the main ones and correct anything that drifts.
