The situation
A refrigerated trailer that fails in the Salinas Valley is not a maintenance problem. It is a load of produce with a clock on it. The fleet manager making that call has two questions and no patience: can you get here, and where is here.
Fleet Tech does the work on site. That is the entire differentiator, and it was the thing hardest to find.
What we built
A page that repeats one promise until it cannot be missed.
- Direct to your location stated three times over: in the top bar, in the subhead, and as a running band under the hero. On this page repetition is the point
- The service towns named explicitly, Salinas, Gonzales, Gilroy and Watsonville, so a dispatcher knows in one glance whether they are in range
- Diagnostics and on the spot repairs described as one flow, because the fleet manager cares about the trailer being back on the road, not about the steps
- The phone number in the top bar, in the navigation, and as the main button. Nobody fills out a form for this
- Hours stated honestly, Monday to Friday, eight to five, rather than implied availability the shop cannot keep
- Instagram linked, since the work photos are already going there
What it does now
A dispatcher with a trailer down can confirm coverage and be on the phone inside a few seconds, which is the entire window this business gets.
