The situation
Every listing portal makes you translate what you want into checkboxes. Beds, baths, a price slider, a radius. Nobody thinks in checkboxes. They think “somewhere quiet, walkable, near my sister,” and then they spend twenty minutes trying to express that through a filter panel that has no field for any of it.
The map is usually worse. A fixed radius around a pin is not the shape of where anyone actually wants to live.
What we built
A search that takes the sentence instead of the form.
- An AI assistant as a first class way in, sitting on the page rather than hidden behind a help icon, so a plain-language description is a real search and not a fallback
- A live map you can draw your own area on, for the buyer who knows the shape of the neighborhood better than they know its name
- One search field that accepts a region, a city or a country, instead of a filter panel demanding all three
- Accounts and sign in, so a search and its saved listings survive closing the tab
- Notifications, for the buyer watching a market rather than shopping one afternoon
- English and Spanish throughout
What it does now
A buyer describes the home they want the way they would describe it to a person, and gets listings back. The companion build that answers the money half of the question is the MC Mortgage Calculator.
