Let Echo read your Google numbers.
Add one email to Google Analytics and Search Console. It takes about two minutes and it's read-only: Echo can see your numbers, never change them.
Where to click
Pick the tool. The steps change on the right.
- 1 Open analytics.google.com and pick your website’s property.
- 2 Click Admin (the gear, bottom left).
- 3 In the Property column, open Access management.
- 4 Click the + button, then Add users.
- 5 Paste the email, choose the Viewer role and click Add.
- 1 Open search.google.com/search-console and pick your site.
- 2 Click Settings, bottom left.
- 3 Open Users and permissions.
- 4 Click Add user.
- 5 Paste the email, choose Restricted permission and click Add.
Read-only
Viewer and Restricted are the lowest access levels Google offers. Echo can't edit, delete or touch billing.
What Echo reads
US visitors, your most visited pages, form fills and taps to call, and the Google searches that bring people in.
Yours to undo
Remove the email on the same screen whenever you like. Your reports simply stop.
Added it? Tell Echo.
Echo checks every hour and texts you as soon as it sees access. Reply "done" and it checks right away.
Stuck? Reply "help" in the same thread and Roberto will walk you through it.
Common questions
You need to be an administrator on the property to add users. If someone else set up your Analytics, ask them to add the email, or reply "help" to Echo.
Roberto can set up both for you for a one-time $200; reply "help" to Echo and he will reach out. Or, if you’d rather do it yourself, he’ll tell you how. With Search Console alone you still get the Google part of your report.
It's a Google service account: an account for software, not a person. It lets Echo read your numbers without anyone's password.
